If you want a more in depth walk thorugh of how to choose and use wall fillers, check out this video.
Preparation
For small, general repairs use our Multi Purpose Smooth Finish Filler. First make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust.
Application
Pick out the area around the hole with the side of a filling knife. Then, pack the filler well into the damaged area, and make sure the filler is left sticking out of the surface. Smooth over with a wet Ronseal applicator, or a pallet knife.
For larger gaps, or for areas that need to be screwed in to, use our Big Hole Smooth Finish Filler. It's designed to fill holes up to 50mm deep in 1 application.
Apply the filler using the same technique as before and allow to dry. It's now tough and strong enough to be drilled and screwed.
For more difficult repairs, use our 5 Minute Multi Purpose Smooth Finish Filler. It's easy to work with and dries 4 times quicker than traditional fillers. Also, because it's so light, it can easily be applied to a ceiling without the filler falling out or sagging.
