How to use wood stain to protect your exterior wood - Video Guide
If you want to protect your exterior wood, check out this video using Ronseal wood stain.
Before you start
Before you start, remove any metalwork and cover any areas you don’t want to get stain on.
Give the wood a good sand to make sure the woodstain sticks.
Using your stain
Give the tin a good stir, and then brush on in the direction of the grain. Check you’re happy with the colour of the stain by trying it on a small hidden patch of wood.
3 coats will give you the best protection. After the second, give the door a light sand, this’ll make the third coat look even better.
Now, it’ll look great, and have more than enough protection for whatever the weather throws at it.
