How do the colours look?
Use on...
- Make sure the area is clean and dry. Open your doors and windows for extra ventilation.
- Test the colour of the enamel on a small, hidden area to make sure you’re happy with the colour.
- Lightly sand the damaged area to get rid of any loose bits and wipe down with a damp cloth.
- Leave to dry before using the repair kit.
- Squeeze out as much of the filler as you need.
- Mix in a small amount of hardener and keep mixing until it’s all blended together.
- Using the applicator, pack the filler into the chip, leaving it slightly raised above the surface.
- Leave it to dry for 30 minutes.
- Once dry, sand to a smooth finish. For enamel and porcelain, use the brown sandpaper. For ceramic and fibreglass, use the black sandpaper with a little bit of water.
- Wipe away any dust and leave to dry.
- Shake the bottle of Touch-up Enamel for two minutes.
- Apply one thin coat and wait two hours to dry.
- Apply another one or two coats.
- It will be touch dry in one hour but leave it 24 hours before getting wet and four days until fully submerging it in water.
Cleaning
Once dry, you can clean the filled patch the same way you do the rest of the appliance.
