Use on...
- Make sure the wood is clean, dry and free from dust.
- Paint, varnish and woodstain coatings should be removed to help the treatment work effectively.
For the best results, use on untreated wood.
- Give the tin a good shake.
- Pour into a suitable container.
- Use a brush to cover all the faces, ends and joints. Pay particular attention to the end grain, corners and any crevices. Ensure all holes and surfaces are saturated.
- Wait two hours for the first coat to dry.
- Apply a second coat. To completely kill and prevent wood destroying insects, apply three coats.
- Wait 24 hours until the wood has completely dried before carrying out repairs. After it’s dry, it can be stained, varnished or painted over.
Cleaning
- Get as much product off your brush as possible.
- Clean it in warm soapy water.
